Teenage life lived by your regular freaks and geeks of the 1980's. The show revolves around siblings Lindsay and Sam. Lindsay and her friends are labeled as The Freaks while Sam and his friends are The Geeks. The Freaks and The Geeks are realistic yet not boring and lovable characters that portray a very real high school life.
Jane Quimby is a high school student. Her best friend, Billy, is secretly dating the girl who's been mean to her since the 7th grade. Jane's brother works as her school's assistant sports director. She was also mistaken as an adult and now works in her fashion dream job at Donovan & Decker. It's not easy juggling her secret lives in high school and in high fashion especially when both those lives come with their own set of challenges.
(PS- JANE AND BILLY FOREVER.)
My So-Called Life talks about 15 year old Angela's life. The show dealt with numerous social issues like child abuse, homophobia, bullying, etc. It doesn't sugarcoat teenage years but instead shows the diffulties, struggles and confusing parts of being a teenager. Also, young Jared Leto??
"On March 21, 1963, Alcatraz officially closed. All the prisoners were transferred off the island. Only, that's not what happened. Not at all." Whaaaat? What actually happened was on that day in 1963, prisoners and guards disappeared without a trace only to return present-day unaged and with no clue of their whereabouts since that time. So comes the shows trying to track down all the other prisoners and figuring out where they've been since that time. It's an interesting story of a not-so-prison break, too bad we don't get to know much more about it.
