Rapper and singer-songwriter is cooking up a new album entitled Man on the Moon III. The album will be a third installation to his previous albums: MOTM II (2010) and MOTM (2009) The artist reported that he was back in the studio to work on some fresh material via Twitter in late January. Watch out for new, chill tunes by Kid Cudi coming out hopefully later this year.
This multi-talented (singer, writer, producer) babe is known for his many pop/EDM collaborations on songs such as Find You with Miriam Bryant and Zedd, Years and Dare You with Hardwell, Wasted with Tiësto, Cheap Sunglasses with RAC, and more. But this time around, he'll be working solo in his his work-in-progress album, Arkadia.
Garrett Borns aka BØRNS
After the release of this babe’s debut single, 10,000 Emerald Pools, we’re glad that we’ll be able to get a taste of more synth-pop songs, in his first EP, Candy. The artist describes his new work as “a summer record for all seasons.” Borns is set to go on tour with fellow breakout artist, Misterwives, this month and all throughout spring. Definitely watch out for more from this musical genius in the next months.
This multi-instrumentally talented babe hailing from New Zealand is another one to look out for this year. This indie/alternative artist is really making a name for himself with his unique music style. We're looking forward to whatever he's working on this year to follow his debut EP, Celeste.
English singer-songwriter Sam Smith is making his name in the music industry with his heartstring-tugging ballads and absolutely angelic voice. Although he has been around for quite some time now, his big break was in late 2012 to early 2013 when people picked up on Latch, a song he featured in for Disclosure. Just months after releasing his debut album, In the Lonely Hour, in 2014, the artist announced that he'll be working on his second album. We'll definitely be waiting for that in 2015.
This Louisiana-born babe is best known for his collaboration with Rihanna on her 2013 track, Stay. In January 2015, Ekko released his debut studio album entitled Time. The pop album features singles such as Smile and Pull Me Down. In an interview with Billboard magazine, Ekko says that the album is really something he is proud of, and from the beginning, he's been diligent with telling the record label exactly what he wanted for his album, a possible big break for him this 2015.
Just when you thought this adorable YouTuber and actor couldn’t get any cuter, he somehow managed to. Again, he wins the hearts of many in 2014 as he dropped his first EP entitled Trxye. This electro-pop record featuring the single, Happy Little Pill, has been getting great feedback not only from Sivan’s established YouTube fanbase but also from his new supporters. In an interview with InTheFame, this angel-faced singer/songwriter says that people can definitely expect more videos AND music from him this 2015.
Now that we've shared our list of up and coming female babe musicians for this year, it's time for the boys to shine. Here are 7 babe musicians you should definitely watch out for in 2015.
2015 is flying by super fast as we're already halfway through February! Artists from all over the world are starting to release new albums with even more brilliant and fresh tracks. Here are 5 women you should be expecting to hear on the radio waves.
Of course, who doesn't know Jess Glynne? Clean Bandit's Rather Be would never be the same if it wasn't for her. Aside from the awesome infusion of classical and electro in the song, Jess Glynne's vocals made it one of the best songs in our generation. If you're expecting to hear more of this girl's beautiful soulful voice, she is epected to release an album sometime this year.
Ryn Weaver was first discovered from her track on Soundcloud called OctaHate, which garnered a whopping 2.6M plays. Although she is still a bit underground, Ryn has worked with Michael Angelakos of Passion Pit, Charli XCX, and Jessie Ware who she is apparently chummies with. She has already released an EP called Promises, and is set to release a full-length album in October.

Way back last September 2014, MMI Live announced about the British Invasion Manila. With the fans hyped up—MMI have finally announced the complete list of the BIM 2015!
3. Ed Sheeran – March 12
The third act of five who has been part of the music industry since circa 2005 is finally coming to the Philippines for his second tour, the X tour. Sheeran's popularity abroad began in 2012 as his singles, “The A Team” and “Lego House” started to play on the radio and the former was nominated for the 2013 Grammy Awards. He also wrote (and is writing) songs for the fourth act—One Direction. I guess it's safe to say that everyone's excited to see Ed Sheeran in Manila since the tickets were sold out in just a few hours.
4. One Direction – March 21
The only act to perform on MoA grounds for TWO days, this boy band is finally coming to Manila after fans have waited for four years! One Direction, or shortened as 1D, are an English-Irish pop boy band signed by Simon Cowell, completed by Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson. The biggest known boy band rose to fame as they joined X-Factor individually and were grouped by Simon. Propelled to international success, they have a whopping amount of fans (known as Directioners) worldwide. To the Filipino Directioners out there, there is only 47 days left!
5. Sam Smith – May 10
The last leg of the British Invasion, Smith ends the 5/5. He rose to fame in 2012, when he was featured in Disclosure’s single, “Latch” which reached #11 on the UK Singles Chart—he later released an acoustic version of the single, a part of his album. The Philippines will be part of the In the Lonely Hour tour this year.
These are some of the biggest artists in the industry, and us Filipino fans are so lucky that all of these beautiful celebrities are gonna grace us with their presence let alone their talents. To the people who are going to 5/5, well, luck you! This is such a great way to spend the year, with great music and good looking guys.
