Thomas William Hiddleston is an English actor; best known for his portrayal of Loki in Marvel Studios’ films, The Avengers, Thor, and Thor 2: The Dark World. His acting career kickstarted when he was discovered in a play, earning him a contract with an agency. From there on out, his success in the field bloomed as he appeared in more and more films.
Standing 6 feet and 2 inches tall and often looking all suited up and dapper, Tom is hands-down a drop-dead gorgeous human being. He is distinguished by his perfectly blond hair; always kept neat and in place, his hopelessly captivating blue-green eyes, and his killer smile. Now, before I continue: a photo montage that is bound to drag you deeper into the tragically beautiful abyss that is Tom Hiddleston...
(Yes, he drew that.)
This man is undeniably attractive on the outside, and we’re in luck, because it’s the same on the inside. His major trademark is his politeness and articulation; the way he behaves around his co-actors, interviewers, and fans. He is so full of charisma and is evidently friendly to his admirers; reportedly calling fans “darling” and saying things like “bless you”. A true gentleman. I wouldn’t be surprised if this Tumblr caption/tag is actually true:
Being a fan of things like Shakespeare and theatrics, together with his knack for being respectful and polite, Tom is pegged as sort of an old-fashioned guy, in a good way, of course. We aren't complaining at all! In fact, I think men all around the world should be taking some notes from this gallant creature. He is a very refined, all-around guy, who happens to be an eloquent speaker; another point to add to his never-ending list of good qualities. It seems as though this sophistication has disabled from doing things like turning his colorful vocabulary down a few notches if the situation called for it. Exhibit A: Using the phrase "delayed gratification" in his appearance on Sesame Street, (a children's show, mind you) where he taught Cookie Monster a little lesson in self-control. Is "reward" the word you were looking for, Tom?
Although we have dwelled mostly on his etiquette and refinement, you'll be pleased to hear that, like most of our adored icons of today, he's got a more comic side to his personality. Behind that suave mantle is his sense of humor; from goofing around on set to (successfully) imitating Natalie Portman:
I think the world could use a little less violence, injustice, and anarchy, and a little more men like Tom Hiddleston.
