In 2012, Jack Harries took a year off and started a YouTube channel called JacksGap while Finn, his twin brother, was away in Uni. It started out with some videos documenting the things that was keeping him occupied at the time, but by the end of the year, the YouTube channel grew with such a rapid pace that the twins decided to extend their gap year and take a chance with JacksGap.
Through JacksGap, the twins not only made quality videos, but they also got to work hand in hand with numerous charities and organizations for the betterment of mankind. Some of these charities even brought the twins to the places where the root of the problems can be seen the most, and through these travels, they were able to bring in more donations and sponsors.
With their extremely creative ideas, their love for travel, and their exceptional philanthropic endeavours, Jack and Finn are slowly conquering the hearts of numerous people. The fact that these twins have that beautiful British accent to match their adorable faces doesn't hurt either.
JacksGap is definitely one of the best examples that can disprove anyone who says that taking a year off after finishing your secondary education can only lead to nowhere good.
