Christmas is deemed to be one of the jolliest times of the year - if not the jolliest time. From all the beautiful lights to the colorful Christmas trees, all of the best things are showcased around these couple of weeks. People would wrap lights around their porches and plants and they would put up extravagant trees and no one really minded that the electricity bill might sky-rocket at the end of the month. All that matters is that everyone is together and is having a fantastic time celebrating with their loved ones. But sometimes, people tend to go a little overboard with their decorations that it becomes hazardous already. Here are a few of the most bizarre Christmas decorations to be ever seen in a home:
Let us not forget that safety is still very important during this time of the year and a crazy amount of Christmas lights won't really guarantee that. Always remember to take the proper precautions before you decide to turn your house into one big light show that may or may not blind the neighbors, not to mention your electricity bill at the end of the month.
Since my birthday falls on Halloween, my dad made it his duty to make sure that he went all out. He’d have these scarecrows on the front yard, a ghost face hanging from the fence, pumpkin heads, and little straw witches on their broomsticks hanging from the ceiling. We used to have bats hanging too but they got lost. Kids come up asking for candy, some don’t even want to come because of the decors (haha).
But what my dad does for Halloween is nothing compared to what these people did.
No, it's not a murder scene but it may as well be. This gruesome scene was part a Halloween decoration done by Johnnie Mullins who wanted to take his Halloween decorations to the next level. He even named those dummies! There's Crushed Kenny underneath the garage door and Dead Fred who was run over by the car.
The owner of this house was an airplane mechanic and thought of using his knowledge of planes to create this scene. People were so shocked by it, even the LAPD got involved. Of course, why wouldn't they? If a plane really crashed some people would've heard it and
Then of course, there are those that just go all out on their typical Halloween decorations. The big mummy, ghost, skeleton figures to the little critters like bats, spiders, crows, etc. Then of course it wouldn't be Halloween without the pumpkins, carved with a smiley face or the scariest one could make it look.
Of course, when decorating the house for Halloween it's best to remember that this is usually done cause kids are going around trick or treating and keep in mind that they'll actually want to get their candy.
