Thomas William Hiddleston is an English actor; best known for his portrayal of Loki in Marvel Studios’ films, The Avengers, Thor, and Thor 2: The Dark World. His acting career kickstarted when he was discovered in a play, earning him a contract with an agency. From there on out, his success in the field bloomed as he appeared in more and more films.
Standing 6 feet and 2 inches tall and often looking all suited up and dapper, Tom is hands-down a drop-dead gorgeous human being. He is distinguished by his perfectly blond hair; always kept neat and in place, his hopelessly captivating blue-green eyes, and his killer smile. Now, before I continue: a photo montage that is bound to drag you deeper into the tragically beautiful abyss that is Tom Hiddleston...
(Yes, he drew that.)
This man is undeniably attractive on the outside, and we’re in luck, because it’s the same on the inside. His major trademark is his politeness and articulation; the way he behaves around his co-actors, interviewers, and fans. He is so full of charisma and is evidently friendly to his admirers; reportedly calling fans “darling” and saying things like “bless you”. A true gentleman. I wouldn’t be surprised if this Tumblr caption/tag is actually true:
Being a fan of things like Shakespeare and theatrics, together with his knack for being respectful and polite, Tom is pegged as sort of an old-fashioned guy, in a good way, of course. We aren't complaining at all! In fact, I think men all around the world should be taking some notes from this gallant creature. He is a very refined, all-around guy, who happens to be an eloquent speaker; another point to add to his never-ending list of good qualities. It seems as though this sophistication has disabled from doing things like turning his colorful vocabulary down a few notches if the situation called for it. Exhibit A: Using the phrase "delayed gratification" in his appearance on Sesame Street, (a children's show, mind you) where he taught Cookie Monster a little lesson in self-control. Is "reward" the word you were looking for, Tom?
Although we have dwelled mostly on his etiquette and refinement, you'll be pleased to hear that, like most of our adored icons of today, he's got a more comic side to his personality. Behind that suave mantle is his sense of humor; from goofing around on set to (successfully) imitating Natalie Portman:
I think the world could use a little less violence, injustice, and anarchy, and a little more men like Tom Hiddleston.
Since this month is all about the royals, it is only appropriate to talk about one of the coolest empowered actresses in show business. Dana Elaine Owens or better yet known as Queen Latifah deserves to be recognized this month not just because of her nickname, but also because she’s one heck of a woman.
Here are three reasons why I love Queen Latifah:
1. She’s multi-talented
Queen Latifah is definitely on my list of favorite actresses. From comedies to dramas and even to animated movies, she’s proven to be very versatile and dynamic. Not to mention, she’s also a great singer. I especially love her role as Motormouth Maybelle in Hairspray (2007) where she got to belt out and show just how lovely her voice is. On top of that, Queen Latifah has recorded several albums in the past few years. She released her very first album in 1989 when she was just nineteen and was part of a hip-hop group called “Native Tongues”.
Not only does she act and sing, she also hosts her own daytime television show, The Queen Latifah Show on CBS where she chats with other celebrities like Matthew McConaughey, John Legend, and Kermit the Frog.
2. She’s fashown (snaps in a z formation).
If you aren’t aware, Queen Latifah is also a Cover Girl! She collaborated with the brand and developed stunning makeup for darker skin. The collection features tons of lipsticks, mascaras, powders, and everything under the sun!
Queen also has a clothing line with HSN called Queen Collection which are clothes particularly for plus size women. Danielle Young of hellobeautiful.com wrote in an article, “Finding clothes that are trendy and comfortable is typically a challenge for larger women. Latifah has made it easier for women of a particular size to feel confident and beautiful in their clothes without looking like they’re swimming in a sea of fabric.”. And yes indeed, her clothing line is absolutely gorgeous!
3. WOMEN EMPOWERMENT.
This is one of the most important reasons why I adore Queen Latifah. Her stand on gender equality and women empowerment should be heard by many.
Queen Latifah also stresses the importance of self-confidence in women. "I am someone with or without this man. I am someone with or without this job, with or without these tight jeans. I am a strong woman. I can survive,” she says. And she is clearly right that women should believe in themselves regardless of how they look like or who they love. In an interview with host Nina Boski she said, “I empower myself by taking control of my life...by deciding to be who I want to be. I’m gonna be happy. I’m gonna live life to the fullest. I’m gonna make it through this. When I choose to make decisions about my life and my thoughts, that’s when I feel empowered. Inner beauty definitely starts with self-love. The decisions you make in life are based on you loving yourself”.
Whether you are slim or curvy, black or white, rich or poor, you deserve to be treated right.

Prince Henry Charles Albert David Windsor also known as Prince Harry of Wales or Captain Harry Wales in the military, might be known as the notorious child of Diana, Princess of Wales and Charles, Prince of Wales, but this 29-year-old prince never forgets to show, time and time again, that he is definitely more than his family background.
A six year old Prince Harry once told his big brother, Prince William, that, "You'll be king, I won't; so I can do what I want!" and boy did he live up to that statement. Back in 2005, he was seen going to a costume party in a Nazi uniform and I'm pretty sure we all know how that ended (not well). In 2012, photos of the prince partying naked with a lot of men and women in his private suit were leaked and in between all of those, he can be seen out and about town partying it up in bars and pubs around the world.
Don't let this fool you though! In 2005, Prince Harry and Prince William started their lives in the military. After several weeks in the Royal Military Academy in Sandhurst, Prince Harry graduated as a Second Lieutenant in the Army. A year after graduating, speculations about him being deployed in Iraq rose, but this was immediately announced as not true by the British Army. In 2008 though, the British Army officials confirmed that Prince Harry has been fighting in the frontline of battles in Afghanistan since December of the previous year so that he can finally have "the chance to do the soldiering I wanted to do from ever since I joined," and almost right after that got leaked in the media, Prince Harry got sent home.
On top of all his military duties, he is still very much involved in all of his humanitarian and royal duties. After graduating from Eton College in England, Prince Harry chose to spend a part of his gap year working with AIDS orphans in Africa. He is also a patron and ambassador to several organizations like the London Marathon Charitable Trust, WellChild, and Walking With the Wounded to name a few.
Prince Harry is also the very first member of the British Royal Family to reach the South Pole. Last December 2013, along with several injured servicemen and women, Prince Harry spent 13 days in the South Pole where he also got busy building toilets that they can use during their stay there.
Prince Harry is quite an athlete too! He excelled in polo and rugby union the most.
Prince Harry of Wales is one swoon-worthy, real life prince charming. Where can I get one of those?

At 19 years old, student and part-time model, Joshua Brand has taken over the hearts and computer screens of thousands of teenage girls around the world.
This Isle of Man native has sparked up an Internet frenzy when rumors circled around saying that he was going to play Augustus Waters from The Fault In Our Stars. Fans began to create manips of Joshua as Augustus and people began to rave about him thinking that he had already been casted in the movie, but even though it had already been proven to be untrue and even if the names of the real cast members have already been released, the hype did not end there.
Despite being all just rumors, it did not stop Joshua from gaining fans and support from people. From creating fan art to sending love on Twitter, Joshua is without a doubt adored by many. In fact, The Infernal Devices fans have eyed him to be their Will Herondale.
So for those of you who have not heard of Joshua, and for those who want to know more about him, we got the chance to have a little chat with the man himself:
What have you been up to lately?
Joshua: I've recently been on my Christmas break from university and have been working at a temporary ice rink as an ice marshal and then as a waiter in a local cafe in my hometown.
What kind of music do you listen to? Who's your favorite artist at the moment?
J: What I listen to totally depends on my mood, whether I'm in the mood to party or just a quite listen to some songs! At the moment I would say my favourite to listen to are Bastille.
How much time do you spend on the internet?
J: I don't spend too much, but when I have time I do love a good browse!
How did you get into modeling?
J: I got into modeling because of a friend, also a photographer, wanted to take photos of me for his portfolio.
Apart from being a student and a model, what do you usually do during your free time?
J: In my spare time I love spending it with friends, playing games on my computer or PS3 or eating my favourite food
Where do you see yourself in 5 years or so?
J: In 5 years I'd love to be out traveling the world seeing some amazing places and creating some lifelong memories.
Is it weird that so many teenage girls look up to you? Have you ever had a crazy fan encounter/experience?
J: Yes, it's very strange! I'm nothing but your average teenager!! Once when I was in America, I was asked to take a photo with someone who knew me from the internet, that was pretty crazy for me!
How did you react when The Fault In Our Stars fans wanted you to become Augustus Waters?
J: Well, apparently I took it really well.. But I don't know really, I just took it as it came and got on with trying to keep all my new followers happy.
Lastly, do you think you're a "babe"?
J: No, not at all! I really don't see why anyone would see it!
Yet here is another humble young man before us. Joshua might be well-loved by many teenager girls for his pretty blue eyes and his defined cheekbones but as he said himself, he's just like any of us. If you put aside the Augustus Waters hype and his seemingly successful modeling career, you'd find out that he's just Joshua Brand; an average teenager making his way in this world.
Thank you for your time, Joshua!
