Pianist is to a piano as accountant is to ledger sheets. If Engineers had weapons, their kits would have pliers, drivers, wrenches, and hammers. Photographers would have their tripods and 300mms. For Sofia Cope, words, art, and pastel colors are the ingredients to her World War 2 Atomic Bomb.

Uncertain what to brand and frightened to constrict the description of the girl residing in the (digital) address: sofiacope.com - Writer? Collage maker? Business woman? Mentor? Queen? Super? – Let us establish in calling her a creator.

How does Sofia create? Let me count the ways.

First, through Viva La Manika, Sofia is a creator of tangible power. If prints can evolve like a Pokemon, the supreme way it can suffice is when put to jewelry. Designed for “girls who are works of art in progress,” her heartfully designed and well thought out pieces becomes a girl’s inaudible chant: “Hey! I’m a girl and I am super.”

Second, Sofia is a creator of Queens. In the process of her growth as a creator, Sofia brings her Queen-terns (interns) on-board the learning express where they traverse the hills of design, rivers of beauty, and tunnels of creativity together.

Third, Sofia is a creator of visual appetizers. With Instagram as her medium, Sofia crafts beautiful (let’s leave it at the most authentic adjective) photo collages and post processes photos in the dreamiest type of color grading. These 1x1 images may well be the main course but the captions deserve the applause.

Fourth, Sofia is a creator of emotions. In the way she stitches words together, the caption that accompanies her Instagram photos triggers confusion, realization, and/or celebration – definitely not your simple joy, sadness, fear, anger, and disgust. As with the growing popularity of adult coloring books, treat it as the adult version of your bedtime stories.

Finally, Sofia is a creator of an anticipating audience. Those already checked-in flight Sofia may be familiar with her constant stop-overs to places like Johannesburg or Chile or Iceland, where she continues to explore where her creativity can take her. Those newly boarded may need to secure their seatbelts because this ride will go beyond the hills of design, rivers of beauty, and tunnels of creativity.
