Now, everyone's obsessed with her and I can't blame
Zendaya Maree Stoermer Coleman started her entertainment career at a young age through dancing, beginning with hip-hop in a dance group in Oakland to ballroom dancing . At the same time she started modelling for Macy's and Old Navy. Her acting and singing career later began in 2009 when she auditioned for a supporting character in a Disney Channel series called Shake It Up. After the series had ended, she signed a deal with Hollywood Records and released her self-titled album in 2013. In the same year, she starred in Dancing with the Stars and became the youngest contestant in the show's history, placing runner-up in the end. Currently she is starring in her own Disney Channel series called K.C. Undercover.
The reason why people are obsessed with Zendaya isn't just because of her amazing face, make up skills, fashion sense, talent, wisdom and maturity, or her kind heart (such as celebrating her birthday by raising funds to help third world countries). People are obsessed with her because she's obsessed with herself. She teaches us and the kids that look up to her that it is important to love yourself every once and a while regardless of the stigma in society that has existed for centuries and has manifested in ignorant pretentious comments in social media today. We need to love ourselves to own ourselves and not society take the reigns. Because when a reporter makes racist comments on your magnificent hairstyle on the red carpet, you need to be ready to shut them down.
