Sabrina Cruz started making videos on Youtube in 2012. Since then, she continues to make videos that cater to the teenage female demographic, supplying them with much reality and much sarcasm. This fabulous and amazing sixteen year old has quite a philosophical understanding on the life of a teenage girl, but more so, a fangirl. Throughout her videos one could see the many, many, and I mean many references to Tumblr; which is like the hub of most fangirls on the Internet. Those videos hit home harder than the actual Fangirl novel and those "27 things only fangirls/girls/teenage girls/etc will understand" articles.
I can really go on but honestly, I don't feel like I'm doing any justice explaining the wonder of Miss Sabrina Cruz. Here a few videos as to why you, yes you my fellow fangirl, should watch and love Nerdy and Quirky.
We all had that stage, and hey, maybe some of you are still in it, where we condemn other people because they wear make-up or listen to Taylor Swift. But you have to agree with her that this unnecessary hate is stupid and we should all just accept other people's opinion's on things… that is if they aren't racist, sexist, and the like.
She gave a powerful message after an incident of a boy who got rejected by a girl and started shooting his schoolmates. She explains why she needs feminism and well, I couldn't stop nodding my head.
Just watch her hilarious take on dating. Just watch.
This is a very helpful video for those people who are down in the dumps or those people who think they deserve to not be happy. It kind of hit home for me and it did make me want to get up and actually do something about that problem.
THIS SPEAKS TO ME ON A SPIRITUAL LEVEL. Honestly, there are so many teenagers out there who pine and pine for boys like Augustus Waters to appear in their lives but they all have to understand that this is not their "young adult adventure" and that they are living their very own adventure.
Sabrina Cruz, Nerdy and Quirky, is Reinvent's Girl of the Month for being one of the good examples on how to be a good fangirl, or a teenage girl in general.
