COFFEE FRAPPE (x)
Forget spending around two hundred pesos for a frappe at your nearest Starbucks when you can make your own. Plus, there's a better chance that your whipped cream at home actually tastes like something.
3 medium scoops vanilla ice cream
1 cup ice
1 cup chilled brewed coffee
1/2 cup milk
2 tablespoons Simple Syrup
Blend ice cream, ice, coffee, milk, and simple syrup in a blender until smooth. Pour into a tall glass. Top with whipped cream, and dust with cocoa powder.
What's so great about this recipe is that the coffee jelly squares instantly melt when it comes in contact with your tongue. Adding whipped cream and milk makes this simple drink a tad more decadent. If you'd like, you can substitute the whipped cream for ice cream.
One packet of unflavored gelatin
2 cups brewed coffee
6 tablespoons brown sugar
Mix the sugar and hot coffee together, followed by the unflavored gelatin. Pour into a square mold, cover with cling wrap, and refrigerate till firm. Cut the gelatin into squares and scoop it out of the mold. Place in your glass and pour as much milk as you want. Top with whipped cream.
