There are even some instances when you can't control it: you could be walking to your next class and you're gonna feel that pang of jealousy because you don't look like how people your age are "suppose to look" or you could be scrolling through your dashboard or your timeline and you're gonna see a small reminder of how average you are and how no one will ever like you because of how you look; however, instances like these do not give you an excuse to be mean to those people who do have your "dream physical appearance" or to be mean to yourself.
There is no excuse for skinny shaming someone or fat shaming someone - including yourself. First of all, it doesn't do any good to the people involved. Not only will it cause unnecessary stress, it will also cause the ugly feelings of envy and jealousy to fester in you and who wants to live like that? When you start to criticize every wrong thing you see, you will immediately lose sight of the good things and you will end up living in a perpetual cycle of pity and self loathing (and believe me that's not something you want to be in).
It will not be easy. It will be a constant battle and you will have to remind yourself that you are amazing and that you are beautiful everyday no matter what the weighing scale says or what those charts say and it will always be like that until one day, you won't even need a reminder anymore because you just know that you are beautiful. Do not wait for someone else to come into your life and do that for you. Remind yourself right now and every hour after this that you are amazing and you are phenomenal. Who cares what everyone else is saying? Only you can dictate your decisions and only you are in control of how you view yourself because at the end of the day, only you will have to live with yourself.

NOTE: One misconception about having this way of thinking is that since you're all for embracing the different body types, you already forget about the healthy lifestyle.
Let me get this straight: just because you've learned to love your physical appearance no matter what your body type is does not mean that you have to forget about your health. You could have the coveted bikini body but it doesn't necessarily mean that you're actually mentally healthy or that a certain organ is not working properly; you could have some excess weight but it also doesn't mean that you don't have a perfectly capable body. Learning to love your body also entails learning how to eat right, doing regular exercise, and treating your body with the respect it deserves - don't forget that.
