Reign: First of all, it's your night too. It doesn't matter if you don't have the prettiest dress or the slimmest figure, you're there to have fun and to enjoy and to not think about what others think.
Anna: Listen, on that night, people will be looking at you not because you're ugly or anything bad, but because you have put on a fabulous gown with amazing make-up and hair to accentuate your natural beauty. Accentuate, meaning enhance, meaning you already got something good going on with your face you just gonna make it look nicer. And let's say you're insecure about pimples, fat, or hairy legs, just remember everyone has those problems too and that isn't stopping them from going to prom, so why would it stop you?
"I really want to go to parties where there's drinking and stuff. I'm not going to get drunk and all that, I just want to experience those kinds of parties but I'm afraid that my parents will get mad if they find out. Do I tell them about it if ever I will go to a party or not?"
Reign: This will be coming from a person (me) who has no experience with such hardcore parties. If you're afraid of getting caught, I'd advise you to tell your parents. Don't give too much details though because they will worry and get paranoid. Just tell them that you got invited to this party and there will be drinking but you won't let yourself get carried away. Parents like it when you're honest with them with these kinds of things because they feel like you're comfortable with telling them anything, so yeah.
Anna: ... Uh, no you don't. Okay, it is going to make you feel guilty (and make me look like a bad influence) but you have to understand that they will not let you do that, no matter what because you yourself cannot know what would and would not happen in a drinking party. So, you risk it.
"What's preventing me from going to my dream college is how expensive it is. It's REALLY expensive because it's in the States. I already applied and got accepted and it's been my dream college since I was a junior and I'm really passionate about studying there so do you think it's worth spending so much money on?"
Reign: Yes and no. Yes, because you shouldn't let this opportunity be put to waste. There are so many what if's if you don't try it out and this might bring so many more opportunities in the future. No, because if your parents don't have the money to afford the college, I guess you have to understand the circumstances. But if you really want to go there, you should save money to also help with the costs or to repay your parents back even just a little bit.
Anna: Have you checked through the scholarship programs though? If you did and it's still expensive then I suggest you go find another school. As sad of a reality it is, quality education is expensive and you have to settle with lower grade education. However, that doesn't mean that there aren't schools that could give you something on par with what your dream school can give you. If you're talking about Ivy League Schools, a State University wouldn't be so bad, right?
