Marian: I get into that situation a lot and personally, what I do is I pray (or cry for a while) to calm down and then I distract myself by reading some cheesy romance novels or by answering word search puzzles. Immediately shifting your dark thoughts to some happy memories works wonders too.
Daniela: Whenever I catch myself thinking negatively, I take a deep breath and talk to my best friends. Sometimes, talking to those closest to you can instantly take away trails of bad thoughts. Maybe you can divert your attention by watching some movies or going out for a jog.
"How do I discreetly poop in school?"
Marian: Wet wipes. Make sure you have a lot of wet wipes with you. You can try going to the bathroom in the middle of a class so that there won't be that much people in the bathroom.
Daniela: Find a bathroom that no one really goes to. Also, timing is everything! Try doing your business when you know there won't be much people going in and out of the bathroom. Make sure you have a roll of tissue paper with you, or if lucky, find a cubicle with a bidet.
"There's this guy I really like but all of my friends disagree because he acts kinda gay."
Marian: As long as that guy is nice and kind and admirable and is in no way harmful to anyone then you can just let your friends' comments roll off your back. You are entitled to like whoever you want to like.
Daniela: Hey, girl, you have every right to like whoever pleases you. You can admire him and daydream about him all you want. Just make sure you don't turn into a creepy stalker or whatnot.
